The learning is so fun they hardly know they are learning.

A great source of life and energy at First Baptist Church is the Little Hawks Preschool.  Focusing on the one year before kindergarten, four and five-year-old children receive a foundation in social, moral, and academic training. Music and activity supplement the phonics-based curriculum providing an excellent academics and values foundation in a caring social environment that leads to a high level of achievement by the end of the school year.

Classes meet 3 days a week with the morning session meeting from 9:00 -11:30 AM while the afternoon session is from 12:30 – 3:00 PM. The highlights of the year include the Christmas Pageant in December, the various holiday parties, and concludes with the Graduation in May.

Terry Perkins (director of Little Hawks) and Karen Barrett are excited about this year’s graduating class of 27 students.
