- Place high value on relationships. Jesus reduced the law to two instructions – love God and love people. Our relationships are of supreme importance. They must be guarded with great diligence. And since people matter to God, they should matter to us. From our evangelism efforts to bring people to Christ to sharing our lives in HOME Groups to greeting people at the front door, we place high value on relationships.
Do children’s and youth ministry well. The life and vitality of a church will be seen in their children’s and youth ministry. We are committed to building a foundation in our church that will prevail for generations. Efforts will be made to bring young people to a point of decision for Christ, energy supplied to help them grow, and opportunities for them to serve will abound. Provide opportunities at various levels of commitment. There will be opportunities at various levels of involvement, commitment, and maturity. A follower of Christ will have a desire to begin where they are and grow beyond that point. There will be opportunities grow at any level. Be intentional about missions. Accomplishing God’s mission will not happen by chance. Only as we are intentional about the Great Commission will we make an impact. Mission campaigns are becoming commonplace, prayer and financial support are ongoing, and outreach events are a part of our calendar. Do things with excellence. Excellence honors God and inspires people. Our best energy will be given to our ministry efforts and facilities. We try for continuous growth and improvement as a way to bring glory to God and remove distractions from people moving closer to God. - Steward well the resources God has given. God has generously given so much. We recognize God as the owner and we are simply managers. Since they are on loan to us, we will use our time, talent, and treasure for the advancing of God’s kingdom.
